Drinks to Avoid if You Want White Fillings to Not Get Stained

Fillings are the best way to take care of many cavities. The problem with the type of fillings that most people have is that they are obvious. If you do not want for people to see a mouth full of silver when you smile, then you might want to consider white fillings.
They will take care of the cavity, but they are less obvious than the traditional fillings. The problem with white fillings is that they can get stained. Here are some drinks that you will want to avoid.
It is well known that coffee can stain teeth. Unfortunately, it can do the same thing for white fillings. This does not mean that you cannot enjoy a cup of joe in the morning. It just means that if you do have a coffee habit, brush your teeth as soon as you have enjoyed the last sip.
Like coffee, tea can easily stain your white fillings. This includes both hot and iced teas. If you are a tea drinker, consider switching to an herbal tea. Make sure that you find one that is not made from ingredients like berries, which will also stain your white fillings.
Red Wine Red wine and other drinks that are made with dark grapes should be avoided with white fillings. White wine will not have the same effect, so that could be a good alternative.
If you drink these or consume anything else that is known to stain, you will want to rinse your mouth with water as soon as you are finished. If possible, brush your teeth as well.
